Captain D's.....Please

Last night as the husband and I are talking about what will be for dinner, a Captain D's advertisement came on. We both looked at each other and said "Hey, you want D's?". He concurred and we loaded the kiddos up and headed that. Now on the way to D's we get behind this Jeep that apparently thinks that the dotted line in the center of the road should be lined up in the middle of his VECHILE!! We finally get around him to find out he had headphones in!! What the crap!! So we eventually get there. We go over the menu and order our food: 2 Deluxe Platters at $8.99 each, my daughter gets a White Fish Platter at $6.99 and my 14month old gets a kids meal with Chicken Strips. Our total comes to $38.09!! We get our food and my potato is COLD, the butter would not even melt, I take it back and get a new one and the thing is SO HOT I burn myself. While I was up there waiting, another man approached the counter with his corn and was having the same problem...COLD CORN! The crab cakes...apparently they changed their way of making it because they have Jalapenos in them!! It wasnt until we were about done that my husband and I both realize neither one of us got our Hushpuppies. So I guess we wont be going back to Captain D's on Jefferson in Cookeville, Tn anymore. This used to be one of my most favorite places to eat as a child. Please...no more Captain D's.
